Boars v Oakey

OAKEY will chase rare back-to-back wins when the Bears head to Goondiwindi to face the Boars in the final round of the Hutchinson Builders TRL Premiership.

Wins have been hard to come by for Oakey the past couple of seasons but the Bears have the chance to head into the off-season with consecutive wins. They beat Brothers last week and now take on last-placed Goondiwindi at Gilbert Oval tonight. The Boars will also be keen to finish off a tough season with a win to build momentum heading into next year.

Brothers v Dalby DALBY can seal its spot in the top two when the Diehards take on Brothers at Glenholme Park tonight.

The Diehards racked up a big score against Goondiwindi last week and could fine tune their attacking form when they take on ninth-placed Brothers. Finishing in the top two will give Dalby direct passage to week two of the finals.

The Leprechauns have little to play for other than pride in what will be their last game of a tough season.

Wattles v Valleys

WATTLES have knocked off Dalby and Highfields in the past few weeks and will look to add Valleys to their list of victims heading into the finals when they meet on Sunday at Platz Oval. The Warriors and Valleys have qualified for the finals and will be keen to play themselves into form ahead of the business end of the season.

Valleys will be hard to beat though as the ladder-leading Roosters are playing to wrap-up the minor premiership outright after their Madsen-Rasmussen Trophy success.
