Consistent quality

Graneta proud of its history of providing high-performance bulls

-

GRANETA will hold the 2017 on-property bull sale at noon on Friday, September 29, at Glendale, near Bell.

Graneta genetics are consistently stand-out performers in prime and hoof competitions at local and state levels and the stud has won championships with limousin cattle at major shows for the past few decades.

Jon and Leny Gaffney will offer clients 45 limousin and angus-cross bulls ranging from 18–24 months.

Most bulls in the catalogue are polled and are a mixture of reds and blacks.

Graneta can offer and guarantee you quality performance animals.

Mr Gaffney said Graneta was commercially focused for the real cattleman and his stud genetics would suit an array of markets.

Mr Gaffney said his goal was to link all segments of the breed industry to create a product with real industry value.

“The bulls are eye-appealing and combine softness with muscle, large scrotums, structural soundness, docility and tremendous power,”

Mr Gaffney said.

All bulls were recently semen-tested by a prominent cattle vet.

Supplementary measurements and scanning data will be available on sale day.

The bulls were strictly pasture-fed before being

finished on oats to ensure their legs, feet and semen motility were up to Graneta’s high standard to guarantee they would get out and work.

All bulls were vaccinated for tick fever, pestivirus, 7 in 1 and three day and were treated for lice.

Mr Gaffney said he prided

himself on having a reputation for quiet bulls and purchasers were guaranteed free delivery.
