There are heaps of fun movies out this school holidays, so with laughs for the adults and fun for the kids, it’s a win-win. Films to see include Captain Underpants, The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Emoji Movie, The Wiggles, and more.
Tuesday
Storytime When: 9.45am to 10.45am Where: Toowoomba City Library, 155 Herries St, Toowoomba City
What: Storytime is a session full of stories, rhymes and songs aimed at children aged two to five years and their parents/carers.
These sessions give children a fun and relaxed start to their reading development before school begins through interactive storytelling, music, play and art.
Wednesday
The Jungle Body Konga Kids When: 3.30pm to 4.15pm Where: Highfields Sports and Recreation Park
What: For kids aged six to 16 years, this fun and easy-to-follow dance fitness workout is perfect for your children.
Benefits include improved coordination and spacial awareness, building of confidence and positive body image, and more.

Thursday
Family Foodies When: 9.30am to 11.30am Where: Toowoomba City Library
What: Come along to a free workshop by a nutritionist to learn about healthy eating with your family members. Workshops are designed for families with primary-school aged children.
A parent or guardian is required to accompany their child/ren at workshops.

Friday
First Zebra foal for QLD When: 9am to 4pm Where: Darling Downs Zoo, 21 Baines Rd, Pilton
What: History has been made in the Darling Downs in a very cute way.
In a first for Queensland, Zebra parents Zara and Zinty had their foal last week.
You can see the zebra family from 9am to 4pm daily at the zoo in Pilton. Admission is $35 for adults and $21 for children aged three to 15 years.

What: If you have been avoiding the crowds during the Carnival of Flowers, now would be the perfect time to take the children out.
Get into the fresh air and sunshine, and admire all the beautiful blooms and garden creativity.
The most popular parks for floral displays are Laurel Bank Park and Queens Park.
