BASICALLY I’ve lived here most of my life.

I was employed here when we first opened so its really exciting to be a part of building something from the ground up, also it’s a locally owned business so that’s really exciting as well.

My family and I moved into Toowoomba from out west on a station at Wallumbilla when I was 10 years old.

Did all my schooling in Toowoomba and worked in various businesses and enjoyed every role I’ve been in.

What I love about Toowoomba is that we are community oriented.

We all tend to rally around and support our community, our local businesses.

I JUST work here (at Toowoomba Fresh) and in my spare time play sport and catch up with friends and family.

I’ve lived in Toowoomba all my life.

I like to play AFL and soccer, for many years now, since I was about 11.

I went to school here, and grew up in Toowoomba.

It’s changed a bit over the years. It’s got bigger and there are lot more things coming to Toowoomba now.

What do I like about it? Everything’s so close.

Where I live feels like you’re out of town but you’re so close to being in town.

I’VE been in Toowoomba since August this year.

I’m originally from Brisbane but prior to that I spent about 10 years in far north Queensland in Cloncurry.

I actually moved because of my parents.

Dad was a train driver so because of that we moved around quite a lot.

I’m the oldest of four so I like to be very close to my family, so I usually follow wherever they go.

I’ve been working here since we opened – so since August.

What do I like about Toowoomba?

I like the vibe of Toowoomba. It’s sort of got that country style vibe but it’s expanding at the same time. It feels like it’s got those traditions which is nice.

I’M FARLY new to Toowoomba, only been up here four months now.

I’m originally from the busy Gold Coast, and came up to Toowoomba for the opportunity for a fruit shop that my father’s taken on board.

I’m really excited to show Toowoomba what we’re all about, just show everyone the passion we have for fruit and veg and take on the great opportunity we have.

It’s a big change in pace to be here. Gold Coast and Brisbane are very fast paced.

You can see with the people – they’re very friendly and they have a lot of time for you.

No one’s very rushed up here. So yeah it’s a nice to take that step back and not be go-go-go all the time.

I’ve been in the fruit and veg game for most of my life.

I’ve been doing this since I was 10 years old, under my father.

It’s basically my career for the rest of my life.

What do I like about Toowoomba?

Just the people really. The people are so friendly and so kind – I haven’t met a bad person yet.
