Dr Blake inquiry clears McLachlan
THE makers of The Doctor Blake Mysteries say there are no findings of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct or workplace bullying against actor Craig McLachlan in its recent internal review. But December Media admitted the show’s workplace culture was laced with bawdy and crude humour that might have been offensive to some staff members. The producers were forced to halt pre-production to investigate allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour by McLachlan (pictured) on the set of the crime drama. The allegations came in the wake of assertions of inappropriate behaviour by McLachlan, made by three actors involved in the 2014 run of The Rocky Horror Show. McLachlan has denied all the claims. December Media commissioned a workplace expert to conduct an independent investigation.
