Code Orange for bizarre driving

-

POLICE in Spain have made a bizarre discovery after pulling over two cars in Seville. Europa Press reports officers suspected something wasn’t right when they saw the cars driving very close together. When they tried to pull the cars over, they shot off and a short chase along a dirt road followed. Inside the cars, police found thousands of oranges. They also found a truck packed with oranges. Altogether, police recovered more than four tonnes of the fruit. The drivers claimed they were “coming from very far away and had been stopping and collecting oranges along the way”, Europa Press reported. But officers didn’t buy it and later learned the oranges were stolen from a shipment. A couple, their adult son and two brothers have been charged with theft.
