TOOWOOMBA is getting another Italian restaurant, one known for its rich authentic flavours.

Toowoomba will be the second location for Bel Cibo, with the restaurant opening at Redcliffe two years ago.

Operations manager Ajay Prasad said Toowoomba was ideal for the business’ next location as the town had seen a lot of growth in the past few years.

“Bel Cibo means good food and that’s what we offer,” he said.

“Toowoomba has been going strong for years now and we wanted to be part of the expanding food scene.”

Bel Cibo will open at Eastville, at 11 Herries St, in the next few weeks.

There are also plans in place for the brand to expand to other cities around Australia.

The restaurant sells pizza, pasta, risotto, salads and desserts.

The Redcliffe store is also known for its Tuesday night special of all you can eat bolognese with fettuccine or spaghetti with either a soft drink or beer for $20.

Mr Prasad said he and the owners were excited to meet Toowoomba Italian lovers.

“It is such a beautiful restaurant and we are excited to greet Toowoomba residents and share our food with them.”

Bel Cibo does takeaway, delivery and dine-in. It will be open from 11am until 9pm seven days a week.
