■ Change the system please. If a politician has been elected as, for example, a One Nation or Liberal member and wishes to resign from that party they must resign from parliament and a by-election called. They should not be allowed to remain as an indep. You are elected members and know what we think about this shambles.

■ Barking dogs. Nine months ago we made a complaint to TRC animal management about our neighbour’s barking dogs. At one time they had nine dogs. Animal management did nothing. We gave them video evidence of continual barking. They said they had talked to other neighbours and confirmed the problem. Animal management has failed to act in finding a permanent solution.
