AFTER THE LAST

-

Race 1: There was specking for Agapantha at 7 and Karaharaga saw good money at 3.1. The connections came for winner General Cos at 3.4 and the bookies started off on the right leg.

Race 2: There was rough specking for Mister Judge at 31 and Proud’s Sequel saw $500 at 8. Didn’t Mention was hard to lay and the bookies were 3.8 at jump time with no takers. Winner Studly Rooster was backed off course at 11 and small money came back to the track at 8.

Race 3: Favourite Molly’s Rocking was easy to lay and there was one phone bet of $1500 at 3. Angle Dane saw good money at 3.8. The winner Soul Secrets was specked at 6 to give the bookies a small win.

Race 4: This was the quietest betting race of the night. Stannis was hard to lay and the bookies were 1.9 at jump time. There was fair specking for Chocolate Shop at 9. Ben Currie did the bookies a favour and home sailed Whitman to give the bookies the lot.

Race 5: All the early money was on Thumbs Up and was backed from 4.6 into 4.4. Theatric saw money at 10. The connections backed Casiino Gold at odds. The favourite Rulers Pride was unsupported and the bookies were 2.5 with no takers. The phone money came for Little John with a phone bet of $2500 at 3. When Little John drifted on the QOP the bookies thought they were a chance, but when he turned for home the bookies knew they were gone.

Race 6: In another quite betting race both of the shorties in Congelator and American Frontier were hard to lay. The winner Kincaple Chief was backed off course and lucky for the bookies the money did not come back to the track.

Race 7: There was small interest early for Fake News and Bernie’s Tiger saw money at 4.1. The winner Rocking Ossie saw good support at 9 to give the bookies a small loss in the last. Overall the bookies went home winners.
