Body builder takes out WFF Pro Miss Universe

A TOOWOOMBA body builder cried tears of joy when it was announced she had won the ultimate title, WFF Pro Miss Universe.
All Teanna Born’s hard work and dedication paid off when she was announced the winner at the 2018 WFF Universe in Singapore on Sunday.
Across the day there were more than 300 competitions on stage and Ms Born said it was her biggest and toughest line up yet.
“I feel so over the moon, it still hasn’t sunk in,” she said.
“I cried for the first time on stage and those who know me know it’s almost impossible for me to cry in public.”
In April Ms Born competed in the 2018 WFF Commonwealth Classic Pro-Am and was named the first place Pro Sports Model Champion.
This qualified her for the 2018 WFF Universe.
After months of being on a strict training schedule and diet, the first thing she did to celebrate was to have a delicious carb-filled meal.
“We went and got a big burger and then passed out, it was such a big day,” she said.
She said it was not only about hard work but also about believing in yourself.
“Believing in yourself is simply an attitude, it is a choice, you have to choose that you can do anything you set your mind to, anything at all,” she said.
“I remember in my past relationship I was told this was a pipe dream. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you can’t do something, have a vision and work on it every day.”
Ms Born already has plans to compete again and to even start her own business.
“I plan to compete at the WFF Nationals in Melbourne in October and then compete over at the world titles in California in November,” she said.
“I’m also going to be focusing on my new business venture, TNT Fitness, offering science backed fitness and wellness programs and challenges focusing on nutrition, training and mindset.”
