USQ finalists named
Alumnus of the Year set to shine
PROFESSIONALS from around the globe have been announced as finalists for the prestigious 2018 USQ Alumnus of the Year Awards.
This year’s awards finalists represent a wide range of high achieving graduates from across a number of fields and community groups worldwide.
Vice-Chancellor Geraldine Mackenzie said the finalists embodied the values of respect, integrity and excellence.
“USQ prides itself not only on the academic, professional and research successes of our alumni, but also on their active participation to better the communities around them,” Professor Mackenzie said.
“I congratulate the finalists on their successes; selecting a winner in many of the categories will be challenging due to (their) high calibre.”
The winners of the 2018 USQ Alumnus of the Year Awards will be announced at a luncheon on August 17.
One finalist will also be named Young Alumnus of the Year.
