IF RELAXATION is more your holiday mode, especially after days packed with land and sea adventures, then there’s plenty of ways to unplug at Tangalooma:

TANGALOOMA 1. MASSAGE AND BEAUTY:

Get treated like the royals at Tangalooma Massage and Beauty. A 60-minute relaxation massage will help you find that holiday om. Tucked away in a little hut, the experience­d therapists offer a range of treatments from facials, manicures and pedicures, to body and detox rituals for the full pampering experience.

Learn how Tangalooma evolved from the exploitati­on of whales to becoming the home of sustainabl­e whale watch tourism. KAYAK AROUND 6. THE ISLAND:

If you’re looking for something relaxing, but still exciting, then hiring a kayak could be for you. Tours allow you to explore the wrecks or you can just hire one for an afternoon paddle at your own leisure.

SNORKEL THE 7. WRECKS:

If you want to explore the wrecks of Tangalooma, take a snorkellin­g tour. With a large variety of different species of reef fish, coral formations, you can get up close and personal with the marine life. Tours include all the equipment you’ll need for the visit.

ILLUMINATE­D 8. SHIPWRECK TOUR:

On board a a glass bottom boat, explore the shipwrecks illuminate­d under the water at night. As you cruise among the 15 wrecks, you’ll see nocturnal marine life you may have missed during the day.

CHAMPAGNE 9. POOLS:

Visit the natural ocean pool that gets its name from the “champagne” effect when the waves crash over the volcanic break wall. Located on the northeaste­rn tip of the island, half the fun is finding it.
