Cycle deaths act of terror
THE Islamic State terrorist group has claimed responsibility for an attack that left four foreign cyclists dead in Tajikistan, a terrorism analysis firm says. The attack targeted citizens from the “crusader alliance”, the group’s Amaq news agency said according to the SITE intelligence Group, which tracks online activity of jihadist organisations.
Two cyclists from the US, one from the Netherlands and one from Switzerland were killed on Sunday when a car ploughed into them on a country road in the former Soviet republic.
