DO YOU love travel but just don’t know where to start? Helloworld Travel have come up with the perfect solution.

Toowoomba’s six stores are coming together to hold a travel festival on Sunday, September 9, from 10am to 2pm.

Helloworld Travel Toowoomba Ridge manager Megan Clelland said there was nothing like this in our region.

“The Darling Downs region is full of passionate travellers, some lucky enough to be well travelled and those of all ages curious to explore — whether it be from our own beautiful state to the wonders of the world,” Megan said.

“We thought it is a perfect opportunity for our travel suppliers to come and be there for people to chat to, gather information and, of course, celebrate travel,” she said.

“International food will be available for purchase on the day, as well as a licensed bar and ‘Two Moos’ coffee van.”

With seating provided, guests can chat about some of their dreamed adventures in comfort with suppliers or read some brochures.

Of course, no travel festival would be complete without exclusive deals available through Helloworld Travel, and a competition or two.

“People can also go into the draw to win a European holidays for two, thanks to Singapore Airlines and Insight Vacations!” Megan said.

“There will also be lots more prizes drawn on the day.”

This isn’t just a festival for the adults, however.

Sparkles the clown will be around for some face-painting fun, as well as the Helloworld Travel mascot HelloRoo, and balloon animals to keep the children entertained.

Local breakfast radio host Lee Faulkner will also be around at the travel festival, and will be chatting about his role as host for the upcoming 2019 Melbourne Cup cruise

The festival will be held at the popular venue Blank Space on Campbell St — across from the Spotted Cow.

Thanks to the venue, there will be plenty of free parking.

Entry is free, with a gold coin donation to the Toowoomba Hospice appreciated.
