THREE years after first opening their doors Toowoomba fashion boutique Florence and Marabel has made the move into a new store at Grand Central.

The mother and daughter duo behind the popular boutique, Donna Mills and Alexandria Cook, share a love of fashion.

Their desire to bring their favourite Australian and European labels to Toowoomba saw the birth of Florence and Marabel in 2015.

The store was originally located in Duggan St’s Australia Arcade, and the duo launched an online store which allowed their rural customers better access to their store.

Since the launch of their online shopping platform, with the help of social media, they now ship their stunning pieces all over the country as well as New Zealand.

Mrs Mills said moving their store to Grand Central was a no-brainer.

“We are so fortunate to have a world-class shopping centre here in Toowoomba,” she said.

“Trading amongst an array of large, sometimes international brands, is a real privilege for our store.”

Ms Cook said the move into the shopping centre meant their customer base would expand.

“Our new position will allow us to introduce Florence and Marabel to a wider customer base who may not have stumbled across us prior,” she said.

They are hoping for a busy introduction to their new store with the Christmas period fast approaching.
