1. EMU GULLY SPECTACULA­R

When: Today, from 10am to 4pm

Where: Emu Gully Adventure Education Group

The Emu Gully Adventure Education Group will display the ANZAC values of courage, mateship, perseveran­ce and sacrifice at the Emu Gully Spectacula­r.

Activities on the day will include model plane and light horse demonstrat­ions, skill at arms competitio­n, WWI plane take off and more.

2. TUFF BULLBARS OPEN DAY

When: Today, from 9am to 2pm

Where: TUFF HQ Toowoomba, 10 Carington Rd

TUFF Bullbars Toowoomba invites everyone to come along to celebrate its inaugural open day.

A fun filled day has been organised which includes activities for children, live entertainm­ent, specialist talks and more.

Entry to the event is free.

3. WEINERSTOC­K

When: Today from 9.30am to 2.30pm

Where: Queens Park, Toowoomba All dachshunds and owners in Toowoomba are invited to come along to Weinerstoc­k.

Funds raised from the celebratio­ns will go towards Storybook Farm Animal Sanctuary.

Market stalls, a dachshund ninja warrior course, best dressed competitio­n, parade and more will be available.

Feel free to wear bright or floral clothing to fit the 1960s theme.

4. STAMP CLUB MEETING

When: Today from 1pm Where: St Stephen’s Church Hall, Annand St

Stamp collectors have an opportunit­y to find some additions to their collection at the Toowoomba Stamp Club meeting.

Dealers will be present and a bargain table with some keenly priced items and stamps for sale from local and visiting clubs.

Following afternoon tea, the club’s monthly auction will be held.

Visitors are always welcome and there is plenty of parking nearby.

5. MA MA CREEK COMMUNITY CENTRE CELEBRATIO­NS

When: Tomorrow, from 10.30am and 1pm

Where: Ma Ma Creek Community Centre, Ma Ma Creek

The Ma Ma Creek Community Centre will hold a Remembranc­e Day Service from 10.30am.

In the afternoon, all present and past residents are invited to attend to meet new friends or catch up with old ones from 1pm.

A special invitation is extended to any new residents who would like to meet community group.

Guest are asked to bring a plate to the afternoon tea to share.

6. HANDMADE EXPO

When: Tomorrow, from 9am Where: Harristown State High School

COME along to Harristown State High School to check out the creations from about 70 stallholde­rs at the markets.

All items for sale will be either handmade, baked or grown by the people selling, with a few quality crafting supplies as well for people to create their own.

Entry and parking are free for the markets.

7. THE KRYPTONITE CHALLENGE

When: Today and tomorrow from 8am to 5pm

Where: Toowoomba Showground­s The Kryptonite Challenge will put competitor­s to the test with its gruelling mud-laced obstacle course.

There will be more than 50 crazy challenges and obstacles to attempt in either the 7km or 12km course.

Parking and entry is free for spectators.

Food and drink will be available while you watch teams attempt the course.

8. GOWRIE LITTLE PLAIN HALL CONCERT

When: Tonight, from 7pm Where: Gowrie Little Plain Hall Country musicians Rod Williams and Adrian Cann will grace the Gowrie Little Plain Hall with traditiona­l bush ballads. Williams will give each person who attends a free vinyl LP.

Entry is $20 at the door which includes supper and lucky door ticket.

9. CENT SALE

When: Today, from noon

Where: Rose Cottage Hall, Newtown Park

The Toowoomba Floral Art Group invites everyone to come along to its cent sale at the Rose Cottage Hall.

Afternoon tea will be provided as well as a lucky door prize.

The sale will offer plenty of ideas for those looking for Christmas gift ideas.

Entry is $10.

10. SENSORY MOVIE

When: Tomorrow, from 10.30am Where: Event Cinema, Grand Central Event Cinemas will screen Charming at the Grand Central Location as the first screening to be scheduled for its Sensory Movie Days.

The day is an inclusive event for families with special needs to be able to enjoy the cinema.

The cinema lights are dimmed and the movie volume is lowered for sensitive ears

Tickets can be purchased on the day and cost $6.
