AFTER THE LAST

THE WIN

SPIRIT’S CHOICE looked on paper to be one of the meeting’s class runners and she backed up that rating with a polished performance to take out the QTIS Three-Year-Old Benchmark 65 for trainer Matt Kropp and jockey Rebecca Goldsbury.

THE TRAINER

SPLITZ continued a magic day for TONY GOLLAN when he added to the Eagle Farm trainer’s recent good Clifford Park strike rate with an overdue win in the Class 2. Gollan earlier scored four Doomben victories including the Group 3 George Moore with I’m A Rippa.

THE RIDER

SUPPORTERS of Colpi Di Tamburo and Von Richter might like to add SHANNON APTHORPE and SKYE BOGENHUBER to their Christmas card list after they produced dashing rides to help the pair land the cash.
