Flavour it Your Way expands

CHINCHILLA: The Western Downs Regional Council has opened the 2019 Flavour It Your Way competition, and residents are encouraged to submit their ideas for public judging this Australia Day.

The crowd favourite sausage sizzle competition is returning to Chinchilla for the fourth time, and this year will also kick off in Dalby, Miles and Tara.

Residents are invited to submit their sausage flavour ideas to their local butcher.

Chinchilla’s Gleeson Quality Meats owner Clinton Smith was excited to see the community’s creations.

Submissions can be made in person at Foodworks Tara, Gleeson Quality Meats or Moles Wholesale Meats and Smallgoods.

Chinchilla’s Adele Brewer (pork, white chocolate and sultana), and Chloe Wright (vegemite and cheese) are among the recent winners.
