AN SMS exchange revealed on Reddit between a babysitter and her client hit a sour note when the mother of two refused to pay the sitter for an eight-hour shift, claiming “free ice cream and a day of fun” was sufficient – though she had agreed when booking her to pay the sitter $16 an hour. Redditors suggested taking her to the small claims court and sharing the result on Reddit. Apparently the fear of that led to the client paying up.
