AFTER THE LAST

THE WIN

SOGNI proved her Clifford Park maiden win a week earlier was no fluke when she vindicated the decision of trainer Dale Groves to back her up in Saturday’s Class 1 Handicap for a successive victories.

THE TRAINER

TONY GOLLAN supporters had a picnic when the premier Eagle Farm trainer returned to his old stomping ground to reel off wins with All Pluck, Rabbiosa and Perudo who scored a sharp debut win in the TwoYear-Old Maiden Plate, running class record time.

THE RIDER

SKYE BOGENHUBER converted her attractive book of rides into a winning night with victories aboard All Pluck, Rabbiosa and Sogni. Rabbiosa was singled out by punters as one of the night’s safest bets but Bogenhuber was forced to work overtime to get the mare home in a close Maiden Plate finish. But it wasn’t all good news for Bogenhuber who picked up a riding suspension along with Kenji Yoshida and apprentice Adin Thompson.
