Don’t misuse truck wash

STANTHORPE: The Southern Downs Regional Council has reminded the community the coin-operated truck wash facility in Mackenzie St at Stanthorpe is not a potable water supply and is not for domestic use.

The council has secured the 50mm camlock connection at the truck wash after some members of the community misused the facility and drew large amounts of water from the region’s water supply.

Mayor Tracy Dobie said the primary purpose of the truck wash was to wash down vehicles.
