God’s plan for the earth

GOD has a plan for the earth! “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

When God became a man in Jesus and walked on the earth, His “glory” was seen and described as being “full of grace and truth” (John.1:14). Grace is God’s kindness transforming us to be like Jesus and is accessed by faith in Him (Romans 5:1-2).

Truth is the Word of God (John 17:17) and as we abide in Jesus’ Word, this brings freedom (John 8:31-32). As grace and truth work in us, His glory is seen in our lives on the earth!

God’s plan is that through the death and resurrection of Jesus He can now “bring many sons to glory” (Hebrews 2:10).

This means many sons (and daughters) walking in grace and truth, having “Christ formed in them” (Galatians 4:19)!

Creation is waiting to see these sons revealed in the earth, “because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:18-21).

This is the purpose of faith in Jesus! Fix your eyes on this hope!
