Robbery charge
ONE of three people charged with an alleged armed robbery at Dalby has had his matters mentioned before Toowoomba Magistrates Court. Christopher Lee Doyle, 33, was not in court but was represented by his solicitor Jag MacDonald who said his client was awaiting an indictment to be presented before the District Court. Doyle, a 35-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl have been charged with the armed robbery of a Woolworths fuel station on Drayton St, Dalby, in November. Police claim Doyle was armed with a knife at the time and that he had fled the store with a sum of cash.
Magistrate Damian Carroll remanded Doyle in custody and adjourned the case to May 25.
