CABARLAH LADIES

-

On Tuesday, March 25 the ladies played a single stableford, with trophy donated by the club. We managed to complete the round in good time, and the rain arrived later in the day, very welcome.

Winner of the event was Jude Bach with 38 points. Jude also scored a Birdie on the first. Second place Janelle Kruse, also on 38. Rundown saw three ties: Petae Frazer, Jessella McConnell and Hazel Black, all on 33 points. The pro pin 2/14 went to Jessella McConnell.

Next week’s competition (Tuesday,April 2) will be the annual Pink Ribbon Day in aid of Breast Cancer Research. This is sponsored by Warren Inch Real Estate. A press release has been circulated regarding this event, and we are expecting good attendance from the district’s golf clubs. Hit off will be a shotgun start, arrival 8am for 8.30. A very appetizing lunch will be provided by Pat Walker and volunteers. Other points of interest are Pennants at Oakey on March 29 and the district matchplay championships at St George on April 15 and 16.

Presently the ladies who qualified for the Cabarlah matchplay competition are proceeding with their matches.
