Race 1: Punters got keen here in the Class 3. The connection­s were on Leroy Rocks at $61. The bookie had to bet $3 to lay The Big House. The winner Molly’s Rocking was the hot go in the race, $7.50 into $4.60 on the QOP. There was a phone bet of $500 at $6 and follow-up cash bets at $5 to give the bookie a bad start to the night.

Race 2: Connection­s showed their support for Cuban Gaga and took $9. There was little money for the other runners except for the winner Devils Marbles. The official fluctuatio­ns were $2 into start $1.45. There was one good phone bet of $1500 at $1.90 and follow-up cash bets at $1.80 and $1.65. In the run, none of the other runners applied any pressure to Devils Marbles and Emma stole the race at the turn. Race 3: Connection­s lined up and backed Boss’s Boy as there was no settling. Rumberella was hard to lay and the bookies went $1.70 to get some money in. But the hill proved a tough ask for Rumberella. The winner Ubirr Rock was steady at $8.50 and paid unders on the tote. Race 4: Early specking came for By By Music at $51 and there was little money on track for any other runners. All the interest was on Coup and the pre-post backing at $4 did not stop there. The flucs on track were $2.40 into $1.90. There was one phone bet of $2000 at $2.20 and follow-up cash bets at $2.10 and $2 to give the bookies their worst result for the night.

Race 5: The connection­s of Casino Gold put theirs to the test at $12. There was no money for Richest and the bookies were $4.60 with no takers. All the track money was on the winner Unique Mistique at $2.20 and the tote punters took the unders.

Race 6: There was no money for Britzel or Run The Cutter. The connection­s of Heaven Help Me were on the winner and the bookies were seen picking up cans.

Race 7: Small specking for Complete Trust at $27. Punters on track were treated to $2 on the winner Newstead. There was no good news here for bookies as Baylee Nothduft rode the winner a well-judged race.
