Ray White Commercial welcomes Terry George

SALES and leasing consultant (and motel specialist) Terry George has had a very broad business background from agribusiness to hospitality.

From a rural background, Terry worked in the extensive beef industry in North West Queensland before moving south into the intensive livestock industries of cattle feedlots and piggeries on the Darling Downs.

Terry has been involved in the motel industry as an owner manager, broker and investor since 2003 when he and his wife, Karen, bought a large motel in Western Queensland.

Successfully transforming the business into a destination centre and busy function centre catering for tour groups, weddings, government sittings and meeting venue, Terry and Karen tripled the turn over before selling some five years later.

Following the sale of the motel, Terry moved to Toowoomba and worked as a motel broker with a national firm travelling Queensland before moving back into small business in Toowoomba to spend more time at home with his then young family.

Keeping a keen eye on industry trends and the hospitality property market, Terry has invested in motel and commercial properties over the years and has been (and is always) up to date with market demands.

Away from work, Terry has a busy family life with his wife and four children and renovating properties, while trying to fit in more time spent in the bush and beach.

With a hardworking ethic and extensive knowledge of the motel industry, Terry George is a great addition to the Ray White Commercial Toowoomba team.
