Here the punters only wanted Reef Knot and the $1.80 went off quick and there was a phone bet of $1500 at $1.80. At jump time Reef Knot went out to $1.90 and then the winner Dancing Angel was backed off course on the QOP, $7.50 into start $5 and paid well unders on the tote.

RACE 4

There were small cash bets on track for the favourite Dotti Dear at $1.90 and the price drifted to $2.10 at jump time. Brash was impossible to lay and was $4.40 at jump time with no takers. The winner in Flying Eddie was steady in the betting at $4.80 and the smart punters took best tote and the bookies broke square on the race.

RACE 5

Doctor Costello was well supported at $20. Ela Beach was hard to lay on track. The favourite Kollur was well supported at $1.65 and was scratched at the barrier and this throw the whole market out of whack. The winner Vincit had support and with the hefty deductions left the bookies with a break square race.

RACE 6

The best betting race of the night and the bookies got to lay all the runners The connection­s were on Grey Top. Princess Sparkles was easy to lay at $3. The winner in Don’t Stop saw good money late at $3.30 and gave the bookies a bad result.

RACE 7

A good betting race to finish off on and the bookies got to lay all the runners. There was plenty of support for Cecile at $3. Platinum Deal went into the book at $8 and Our Red Jet was specked at $8. The winner Skyquake was specked in the morning and started at $31 to give the bookies a break square result for the night.
