WestWorld Fox Showcase 115, 11am (encore 7.30pm)

This sci-fi series – inspired by the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name – is set at a Wild West theme park, where guests are encouraged to indulge their desires and human-like androids are happy to cater to their every whim. In season two, chaos took control – Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) took charge, Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton) was on a mission, and the mysterious Man in Black (Ed Harris) returned. In tonight’s season three premiere, Dolores develops a relationship with Caleb (Aaron Paul, pictured) now that she lives in neo-Los Angeles. It’s not long before she learns how artificial beings are treated in the real world.

Mayans M.C. BoxSets 131, 9am

When a simple twist of fate lands former Stanfordbound golden boy EZ (JD Pardo, pictured) in prison, he agreed to become a mole for the Drug Enforcement Agency, which is hellbent on shutting down a Mexican drug cartel. That meant becoming a pledge for the Mayans Motorcycle Club, where his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) is a full member. If you’re yet to see this critically acclaimed

Sons of Anarchy spin-off, expect the rift between EZ and his brother to be a major story arc in this high-octane thrill ride, full of twists, turns and deceit – and a cameo or two. Both Katey Segal and David Labrava will guest star as their respective SoA characters Gemma Teller Morrow and Happy Lowman. Today you can binge the entire first season.

In this ground-breaking 90-minute special, presented by hosts Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell, the team behind Long Lost Family uses DNA technology and painstaking detective work to help solve the mysteries of several people born with unknown beginnings, otherwise known as ‘foundlings’. Among them is a man who was found as a newborn in a hospital car park, a woman left at five days old in a cardboard box in Manchester, and another abandoned on a doorstep in Scotland. All three are desperate to piece together their pasts and find answers, with astonishing and, at times, heart-breaking results. You’ll need a box of tissues for this one.
