Drug supply ring busted

MORE than 30 people have been charged over an alleged drug supply ring operating across central west NSW and southwest Sydney.

Police executed simultaneous search warrants at 16 properties in Wellington and Montefiores, as well at five properties in Bankstown, Bass Hill, Condell Park and Yagoona. Eighteen people aged from 23 to 53 were arrested during the operations on Wednesday, which saw investigators seize more than $600,000 in cash and 1.4kg of gold, as well as ice, heroin, MDMA, firearms, railway detonators and vehicles.
