As from Friday 3rd July, bowls games have resumed and we look forward to welcoming you back. But social distancing must still be maintained. Please register to play by phoning the Club on 07463 23174. You can leave a message on the answerphone if no-one responds to your call. Green fees will be $10 until we can resume morning or afternoon teas.

Tuesdays: Self-selected mixed Pairs, play begins at 12.30pm until 4.30pm. Register between 10am and noon. Wednesdays: Mixed Pairs, starting at 12.30pm, register as above. Fridays: Morning social mixed bowls, triples or pairs. Register by 9.00am, games begin at 9.30am until 12.30pm Sundays: This is an addition to our organised games. Club selected Pairs, register between 11am and noon for a 12.30pm start, finish by 4.30pm.

NB: Annual subscriptions were due from 1st July.

Wednesday morning Roll-up sessions have been very well attended and has been a pleasure to be back on the green with our fellow members and now with COVID restrictions lifted further we can now resume playing bowls with some normality

Wednesday 1st July the ladies played an 18 Hole stroke in conjunction with the 1st round of their championships. Winner was Sheryl Barlow with a 70 Nett, the runner up was Iris Thompson with a 74 Nett on a cb, and the run down went to Dawn Bradford with a 74 Nett. Front 9 winner was Margaret Muir with 18pts, and the Back 9 winner was Hazel Harvey with 18pts.Saturday 4th July the ladies played an 18 Hole Stroke along with the 2nd round of their championships. Winner was Hazel Harvey with a 75 Nett, the runner up was Sheryl Barlow with a 77 Nett on a cb, and the run down went to Bev Bacon with a 77 Nett also. Front 9 was won by Daphne Webster with 16pts, and the back 9 winner was Jenna King with 19pts. Wednesday 8th July the ladies will play an 18 Hole Stroke along with the final round of their championships. Thursday Sporter winner for the 25th June was George Fenton with 23pts and the pin was won by Danny O’Brien. Thursday 2nd July the winner was Alan De Ross with 25pts. Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July the members played an 18 Hole Stroke in conjunction with the July Monthly Medal. The winner of Div 1 and the Monthly Mug was George Fenton with a 70 Nett, and the winner of Div 2 was Ken Darr with a 73 Nett. Runner up was Andrew King with a 71 Nett and run downs went to George Wright 73, Ken Darr 73 and Alan De Ross with a 77 Nett. Please note the Captains day programmed for Saturday 11th July has been postponed. Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July the members will play and 18 Hole Stableford.
