Toowoomba specialist honoured at award’s night

HOOKER Toowoomba property specialist Mike Stewart has taken out the top sales accolade at the real estate network’s annual Queensland and Northern New South Wales (QLD/NNSW) awards, held virtually this year.

Mike and Julie Stewart (pictured) were named LJ Hooker’s Top Selling Business Owners throughout QLD/NNSW for the number of properties sold over the last 12 months.

In addition, the LJ Hooker Toowoomba agency was awarded Best Sales Growth Office, capping off a distinguis­hed year.

LJ Hooker state director Stephen Mutton congratula­ted Mr and Mrs Stewart and the agency of their outstandin­g achievemen­ts.

“Mike and Julie’s commitment to finding the right buyer for the right property is a shining example of leadership and determinat­ion. Trusted service is what sellers and buyers alike seek in a changing environmen­t and Mike and Julie have been the leading advisers for those with an interest in real estate.

“Despite the uncertaint­y posed by COVID-19, and challengin­g times in propLJ erty markets, the team has been resilient and focused on upholding best practice standards to successful­ly guide their customers in a changing real estate landscape,” Mr Mutton said.

Speaking on the double win, Mr Stewart said he was thrilled about the recognitio­n from his peers and for his hardworkin­g team.

“Our staff have gone the extra mile to service our customers, and these awards recognise their outstandin­g efforts.

“I am very proud of the entire team,” Mrs Stewart added.
