The Chronicle

NEW DIGITAL ERA

The faster, slicker, cleaner way to read the news that matters to you

-

The most significant change to the Toowoomba Chronicle’s website and mobile site in more than a decade went live in recent months. It brings you a world-class digital news experience that’s super quick, whip smart, less cluttered and more user friendly.

It will also be constantly improved. The site is the culmination of many months and hundreds of hours of interviews with our audience about what they want from their local news service.

The Garden City’s premier news, sport, entertainment and information website, thechronicle.com.au, is less congested and more user-friendly. You asked for speed: we’ve delivered, by building one of the quickest-to-load news sites of any publisher, anywhere. You asked to find content more easily: we’ve delivered, by presenting a design that is clean and simple plus an intuitive navigation system that means users are only ever one click away from their area of interest.

You asked for more relevant content: we’ve delivered by introducing topics that enable all content about that subject to be collected on one page. As a subscriber you have access to great rewards including book and magazine deals, discounted Kayo sports live streaming and BINGE entertainment, freebies, exclusive offers and great competitions.

And this is just the beginning of The Chronicle’s digital evolution.

We hope you’re enjoying the evolved thechronicle.com.au and welcome your thoughts. We’ll be making adjustments based on your feedback. Email toowoomba@news.com.au.
