CPR program receives new equipment

-

MEMBERS of the Toowoomba Local Ambulance Committee (LAC) gathered this week to present equipment to the CPR program volunteers to enable them to hold demonstrations in our local community.

LAC Toowoomba president Rosemary Morley said about $4500 worth of equipment and products were donated including manikins, training defibrillators, a television and stand, and new CPR Volunteers shirts.

“The CPR program currently has 16 volunteers and there is room for more people to become involved,” Mrs Morley said.

“If anyone would like to be accredited to be a CPR Volunteer with this group they can contact co-ordinator Suzette Dakin on 0418 852 933.”

The Toowoomba LAC is also calling on any community groups or schools in the Toowoomba community who would like a CPR presentation to make contact with Rosemary Morley on 4635 4078 to arrange a date.

The Toowoomba Local Ambulance Committee is a volunteer committee who proudly support all three ambulance stations in our area.
