Vocal group Ten Tenors heading to Toowoomba

- TOM GILLESPIE

POPULAR male vocal group the Ten Tenors will be arriving in Toowoomba soon as part of a long-awaited national tour.

The group, which was established in 1995 and has played to millions of people across thousands of concerts, will play a 22-date tour to celebrate 25 years since it was founded.

The tour had to be postponed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Group member Jared Newall said the run of shows would also serve as a reunion of sorts for the men.

“We haven’t been all together since we said goodbye to each other in Brazil on March 17, 2020,” he said.

The song list will feature favourites like Bohemian Rhapsody, Hallelujah, Perfect, In My Life, Here’s to the Heroes, Pearl Fishers Duet, Funiculi, Funicula, Largo AL Factotum and Nessun Dorma.

The Ten Tenors will play the Empire Theatre on July 3 from 7pm.
