God in our everyday lives
GOD meets us in our everyday lives, the small things in life as well as the most difficult situations, all matter to him.
Romans 8:28 is used out of context so often. When natural disasters, sickness and calamities strike us, people quote “Well all things work together for good” and forget to add “for those that love God”.
They also make it sound like God is responsible for all these disasters or sickness, but God is not the one who sends these things.
James 1:17 says “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights”. On the other hand John 10:10a says, “The thief comes to kill steal and destroy”. What many people fail to remember is there is a real enemy in this world – Satan.
God is not responsible for all these disasters. God has delivered us from all these things, but while we are in this world we will suffer persecution (2Tim3:12).
We serve a God who can take the things Satan sends our way, turn them around and cause them to work for our good, for those who love Him.
