Business celebration is just around the corner
NOT long now. Less than eight weeks, until the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2021.
We are full throttle in delivering the best awards season, ever.
The Focus HR Business Excellence Awards 2021 is proudly presented to you by the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce.
The awards are designed to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the city’s diverse and dedicated business community and recognise the contribution to creating a strong, healthy, vibrant region.
We will have plenty more to say about the awards in the coming weeks, along with the incredible businesses and individuals that these awards celebrate.
But this week, I want to give a shout out to all in the community who took time and voted for the 2021, People’s Choice Award sponsored by
The Chronicle.
Voting closed on August 17, with a whopping 18,000 plus votes recorded on the Chronicle platform.
This is an outstanding response from the community. Remarkable and appreciated. It shows the businesses that were in the running, how much they are recognised and appreciated by their clients and their peers.
While this award will not be considered for the overall Business of the Year winner, the People’s Choice Award provides applicants with the chance to be voted by the public as their people’s choice.
The concept allows the Toowoomba Chamber to acknowledge all applicants who applied in 10 categories, thank them for their hard work to apply, and provides free marketing and promotion of all applicant’s business via the platform for a 3-week period.
Like 2020, we will be identifying the top 10 businesses as finalists in
this award. The announcement will be at 12pm on Friday, August 27.
I suggest, you set a reminder, get your team together and join us on social media platforms to see which businesses will be in the running to take out, not just the People’s choice Awards, but in all categories.

this much-anticipated Toowoomba business night of nights event, on October 16 to the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards, Gala Dinner, held at the award-winning, brand new, Edmund Rice Cultural Centre at St Mary’s School.
Early bird tickets close on Wednesday, August 25 at 5pm.
