HAVE YOUR SAY ON KINGAROY TRANSFORMATION
THE South Burnett Regional Council is seeking public feedback regarding their vision for the Glendon St “shared area” at the heart of Kingaroy, as well as the Rail Trail Head and Bank Gallery.
Over the next week the community was encouraged to touch base with the council regarding their thoughts, feelings and concerns about the latest reveal for the Kingaroy Transformation Project via several upcoming information sessions.
The proposed KTP designs feature key themes from across the South Burnett, support day and night community activation and would create opportunities for art, culture and Indigenous recognition.
The design of Glendon St included a multifunctional space for day-to-day use, which could be closed to traffic and transformed into an area that could hold events including festivals, farmers markets, cultural events, formal and charity events, and community expos.
