Polair tracks stolen car on Warrego
POLICE called in the Polair chopper to track a stolen Holden Commodore as it travelled west along the Warrego Highway towards Oakey.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers received information that the stolen car was at the Wilsonton McDonald’s about 10.30am yesterday.
The driver fled west along the Warrego Highway and was last observed near the intersection at Oakey-Biddeston Road.
A large police operation was launched to track the vehicle and bring it to a stop.
It is described as a yellow Holden Commodore with black stripes, and it may be in the Oakey, Biddeston, Cecil Plains or Southbrook areas.
