‘SONIC WAR’ FEAR

-

US Vice-President Kamala Harris had to delay her flight to Vietnam due to another apparent case of the mysterious “Havana Syndrome” that has sickened US diplomats around the world.

The US is still unsure what causes it five years after the first case in Cuba when US envoys and their families complained of nosebleeds, migraines and nausea after experiencing piercing sounds at night.

Similar complaints have been reported by US officials in China and Russia, raising concerns enemy states are using sonic devices to harm US diplomats. Ms Harris was not thought to have been hurt.
