Protecting ozone layer

THE Householders Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) group is calling on the Darling Downs community to get behind World Ozone Day next month.

On September 16, people around the world will celebrate 35 years of global ozone layer protection.

Members of the HOPE group are encouraging the public to use the hashtag #Ozoneforlife on social media.

This will help raise awareness around the world about the importance of the ozone layer.
