THERE appears to be contrary information regarding Covid shots.

Are there one million workers and truckies who need a jab to cross the Q-NSW border?

Well no, maybe 1000 give and take a few hundred. Many will already have gone and got vaccinated as the job, their income depends on crossing the border daily.

The workers need their income, we need the truckies and the freight they haul, so why according to the TV news on Monday, August 23, are they being turned away from vaccination centres and told to book for two to three weeks out?

As well as the big vacc centres there are hospitals, doctors, chemists all doing vaccinations.

The fiddling round will go on till we get Covid and a lockdown here, which we surely don’t want or need.

For Toowoomba it will be interesting to see if any problems occur after last weekend’s footy match.

In some ways it’s been very badly handled and that worldwide.
