Such arrogance

ANNASTACIA Palaszczuk, the Wagners and the Mayor (who initially approved it), have just given Toowoomba a totally unnecessary and unwanted facility that will affect this region on a gigantic scale for years to come.

Say goodbye to the “Garden City” and welcome “Palaszczuk’s Covid City” all because we choose Liberal MPs over Labor MPs.

The PM has emphatically said that “this facility does not meet National standards”.

I believe the Federal Government is in control of Australia’s airspace so as the country’s leader, I expect no less of him than to deny the airspace they need.

“They will come,” says Annastacia Palaszczuk: who, how and more importantly why when the facility at Pinkenba is going ahead that meets all requirements and more?

This decision has ruined our region and put us, and our facilities, in peril.

Queensland taxpayers will be funding this and possibly the millions needed for a control tower which will be mandatory if the PM does not stop this.

I have never seen arrogance from a Premier on a scale such as this.
