A WOMAN who police caught hiding in a car boot in an attempt to enter Queensland has been fined again, after officers discovered she entered the state on foot.

Queensland Police released footage of the incident on Thursday, which depicted the woman hiding in the boot of a car connected to a tow truck at the Goondiwndi border on Wednesday, August 18.

At the time the 49-year-old woman was taken to Boggabilla and fined $4135 for failing to comply with a Covid border direction.

Now police have revealed the woman has been slapped with yet another fine after she was found at a Warwick home.

She was initially arrested and held in custody to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court, charged with failing to comply with a public health direction.

She has since pleaded guilty and was fined an additional $4135.

The woman is now completing 14 days of hotel quarantine.

Prior to the boot incident, the woman had been denied entry into the state at the same border crossing twice.
