Train heads to festival
A SPECIAL steam train will be departing from Toowoomba on Thursday, September 9 at 8:30am, heading for the “Back to the Bush Festival” at Miles.
The festival organisers have leased the whole train belonging to Southern Downs Steam Railway (SDSR) for the event and there are still some seats available which can be booked through their website: www.backtothebushfestival.com.au.
It will no doubt be a colourful departure from Toowoomba Railway Station and everyone is invited to come and enjoy the spectacle.
SDSR will be operating its steam train again during the Carnival of Flowers with three short trips to Wyreema departing Toowoomba at 8am, 11am and 2pm on Sunday, September 26.
