ISLAND ADVENTURE FOR JUST $1

-

HOT deals on tropical island resort stays, sky-high adventures and zoo tickets will be on offer this week as Queenslanders prepare for the September holidays.

Tourism and Events Queensland and News Corp’s Queensland mastheads are promoting incredible operator deals to support the state’s tourism industry ahead of the spring and summer breaks.

The 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign proved hugely popular when it launched last week, with theme park passes, Cairns gondola experiences and Outback dinosaur museum tickets snapped in minutes.

To kick off week two of the campaign, 100 one-night accommodation deals on Great Keppel Island are up for grabs for just $1.

A onenight stay in a Putney Place studio room would normally cost $170 per night.

Great Keppel is described by local tourism operators as a “barefoot island paradise” on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, 30 minutes ferry from Yeppoon.

The island is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving and its water are regularly visited by turtles and dolphins.

Guests can hire stand-up paddle boards and kayaks, and there are guided paddling tours around the island.

The deal will be available from 9am on Monday until sold out.
