POP-UP PFIZER HUB RETURNS THIS WEEK

- HOLLY CORMACK

CHERBOURG’S pop-up vaccine hub received a visit from public health physician Dr Katie Panaretto to help address any questions or concerns residents had about getting the Covid jab.

The vaccination clinic will be held at the Cherbourg Town Hall from 8am to 4.30pm from Tuesday to Thursday and 8am to noon on Friday, September 10.

Dr Katie Panaretto was on deck for a question-and-answer session prior to the clinic’s first day on Monday.

“There is a lot of information about the Covid-19 vaccination in the community and it can be hard separating facts from myths,” she said.

“These vaccinations are safe, effective and the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from getting very sick.

“This clinic is a great opportunity for people to not only protect themselves but also their communities, elders and families.”

The clinic is available to people getting their first or second Covid-19 vaccination.
