IT’S the sky-high adventure that puts the Gold Coast head and shoulders above the rest – and you could experience it for a gold coin.

As part of the 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign, Tourism and Events Queensland is offering 100 SkyPoint Day Climbs for $1 each on Wednesday.

The climb takes place on top of Australia’s tallest building – the Q1 at Surfers Paradise.

As part of the 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign, Tourism and Events Queensland is offering 100 SkyPoint Day Climbs for $1 each on Wednesday.

The climb takes place on top of Australia’s tallest building – the Q1 at Surfers Paradise.

Starting on level 77 of SkyPoint Observation Deck, climbers dressed in a full body suit and harness follow their guide up to the crow’s nest 270m above ground.

The 90-minute climb offers 360 degree views of the Gold Coast, its golden beaches, city skyline and green hinterland.

“At this time of year, you are likely to see many whales and their calves breaching as they migrate south, which in itself is such a magical experience,” SkyPoint brand manager Allie Brown said.

TEQ is offering hot deals, holiday competitions and discounts throughout the 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign, in partnership with News Corp Queensland’s mastheads, including The Chronicle.

The $1 SkyPoint Climbs will be on sale from 9am on Wednesday until sold out. Visit queensland.com/ holidayslikethis
