Traffic lights
IT IS of concern and a source of annoyance to obey the traffic lights of Ruthven and West Streets, Toowoomba.
It is common for one travelling the length of both to stop at most intersections for the red light.
It appears that the lights have been installed having no regard to the traffic flow.
Ipswich City has had the luxury of synchronised lights of Brisbane and Limestone Streets since the early 1960s, so why do we have to tolerate this archaic system of stop and go, stop and go in this day and age? TONY IRVIN, Highfields
