The rows and rows of lavender in Provence in southern France are a sight to behold and considered among the best fields in the world. Tasmania, however, has the world’s largest privately owned lavender farm at Bridestowe, 50km northeast of Launceston. Wander the 105 hectares of fields, then dig into their famed lavender ice-cream, scones and tea.
