Grannie a mass murderer
NEW YORK: A US grandmother has admitted helping to orchestrate the brutal murder of her son’s ex-girlfriend and seven of her relatives – motivated, prosecutors say, by a feud over custody of her granddaughter.
Angela Wagner, 50, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, along with other charges, and agreed to testify against the other defendants – her husband and one of her sons.
The deaths in 2016 of seven adults and a teenage boy from the Rhoden family at three trailers and a camper van near Piketon in Ohio horrified the local community.
Prosecutors say Wagner, husband Billy and sons Jake and George killed the Rhoden family because they wanted custody of the daughter Jake had with Hanna Rhoden, 19, who was among those killed.
Jake has already pleaded guilty and has agreed to testify against his father and brother, who have pleaded not guilty.
